Men from the FERA camp at Dinosaur Monument work to remove rocks and overburden from the quarry area. The men are up at the level of the old Carnegie Quarry (sloped rock on the right). A group of men from the CWA (Civilian Works Administration) and the FERA (Federal Emergency Relief Administration) worked and lived at the Monument under the supervision of Dr. Albert C. Boyle, geologist and custodian of the Dinosaur National Monument. |
