Description |
Men from a FERA camp at Dinosaur Monument place rock and overburden from a hillside into a cart. The cart was then pulled and emptied in another area. The men were making way for a future quarry and museum. A group of men from the CWA (Civilian Works Administration) and the FERA (Federal Emergency Relief Administration) worked and lived at the Monument under the supervision of Dr. Albert C. Boyle, geologist and custodian of the Dinosaur National Monument. |
