Description |
Men from the FERA camp at Dinosaur Monument work to remove the overburden from the quarry area. They load carts and then pull them on tracks to a another location where the overburden is dumped. This mountain is being moving one cart at a time. A group of men from the CWA (Civilian Works Administration) and the FERA (Federal Emergency Relief Administration) worked and lived at the Monument under the supervision of Dr. Albert C. Boyle, geologist and custodian of the Dinosaur National Monument. |
