FERA men stationed at the Dinosaur Monument camp work to remove overburden from the quarry area. They are carrying explosives that is to be used in the excavation. A group of men from the CWA (Civilian Works Administration) and the FERA (Federal Emergency Relief Administration) worked and lived at the Monument under the supervision of Dr. Albert C. Boyle, geologist and custodian of the Dinosaur National Monument. |
