Description |
Men from the FERA camp at the Dinosaur National Monument haul the wheels to a cart up the hill. They pulled carts full of rock on tracks to help remove overburden from the area and to build a rock channel through the camp. A group of men from the CWA (Civilian Works Administration) and the FERA (Federal Emergency Relief Administration) worked and lived at the Monument under the supervision of Dr. Albert C. Boyle, geologist and custodian of the Dinosaur National Monument. The bunkhouse can be seen in the background. |
