Subject Dinosaur National Monument
Description Dinosaur National Monument scene. There is a rock foundation on the top of the right hill. The camp is in the bottom of this draw and the Green River is just over the ridge. As a geologist stand point, this is the view up the draw that is now occupied by the road that goes up to the quarry from the lower parking lot to the upper parking lot. On the right side is the Brushy Basin Member of the Morrison Formation and on the left is the Salt Wash Member. The boundary between the two members is along the stream bed.
