Health System Innovation & Research Program (HSIR) - Research Design Document

HSIR Colleague is a tool that helps university faculty find other like-minded researchers with whom they can start collaborative projects. After a faculty logs in to the site, they are shown prospective matches one at a time. Better matches are shown first. If the prospective match interests the user, they can send a quick introductory email. If the other person is also interested in working together, the site shares contact info. A search function allows faculty to look for specific fields of interest if their needs dictate that.
