Description In 1960 the Teton Valley Boys Ranch was founded by Lowell Bennion. On some property leased for the summer, Lowell Bennion developed a program to provide urban youth with opportunities for outdoor work and recreation. It began as a simple operation. A hotel owner let Lowell and his boys stay in exchange for work around the property. They painted rooms, did small repair jobs and fixed fences around the ski lodge.
