| Description |
Aerial view of Stanaker (Steinaker) Dam, a portion of Stanaker (Steinaker) Resevoir area, and the relovated Utah Highway 44. The dam is a rolled, zoned, earthfill embankment, 140 feet in height and a crest length of 1900 feet. It contains 1,894,000 cubic yards of earth and rock, and will create a 38,000 acre feet reservoir to supplement present irrigation of 15,000 acres in Ashley Valley. Stanaker (Steinaker) Dam was constructed by Morrison-Knudsen Company Inc. under specifications DC-5160. |
