The distance medley team comprised of freshmen Megan Combe, Lauryn McKay, Nikki Dotter and Amanda Mergaert competed at the Iowa State Classic on Friday for a tenth place overall finish and combined time of 12:03.23. The Utes kicked off competition on Friday with a good showing in the distance medley. Their time of 12:03.23 ranks third on Utah's all-time performance list. Combe ran the first leg (3:48), followed by McKay (58.1) and Dotter (2:20.5). Mergaert had the final leg of the race (4:57.3). |
