Description |
The William and Emily Siddoway Home is a two story Victorian cottage. The massive corner tower overpowers the prinicpal facade: especially in light of the 1/2 size front porch. Even the crenelation seems less noticable. The massive qualities of the corner tower are only partially softened by the shallow pent roof which extends around the circumferance of the tower at the second floor level. The front porch whic seems particularly small does develope the expected Eastlake woodwork. A small screen porch and concrete coal bin are located at the rear of the house. This home is located at 1055 North Vernal Avenue. Raymond Peterson is the artist of this sketch. |
