Description |
Address: 211 West 100 South, Salt Lake City. Affiliated with the Jodo Shinshu branch of Japanese Buddhism and the Buddhist Churches of America. The local temple had its roots in Ogden in 1912, and soon relocated to Salt Lake. A Sunday School was organized in April of 1918. An earlier building in Japan Town housed the early temple, now demolished along with most of Japan Town. The present complex was built in 1961, and remodeled in 2010. |
