Final Score Senior Candice Workman-Ekberg led the way, taking gold in shot put with 49' 5.00". Her mark is not only a new personal record, but also breaks the previous school record. Workman-Ekberg set the previous record earlier this year and looks poised to have a strong showing in the conference championships. Junior Vanessa Mortenson finished second in the weight throw, but was the top collegiate performer. Her mark of 58' 4.00" is the second best performance of her career. The junior holds the school record in that event. Sophomore Amanda Feigt won the long jump with an impressive 19' 4.00" distance. Katy Barton followed Feigt with a fourth-place finish with 19' 2.00" mark. Sophomore Susan Atwater had a strong meet in the pole vault, finishing second overall with 11' 8.00".
