Final Score Teren Jameson won the 3,000-meter run in 8:33.49 minutes. Nellie Hammons posted her highest finish, second place, in the 800-meter run with 2:16.90. April Jackson finished third in the 60-meter hurdles with a career best 8.67 seconds, while Kristy Slade finished seventh in 8.94. Slade topped the Ute women in the pentathlon finishing fourth (3563 points). Following Slade were Erianne Allen in fifth place (3469 points) and Shanae Nixon in sixth place (3418 points). In the weight throw, Audrey Kiser finished third (56'05.75") and Chantel Goldsberry finished fourth (56'03.25"). This is the first time Kiser has placed higher than Goldsberry at a meet. Jameson, Jackson, Hammons and Kiser brought home all-conference honors for finishing in the top-three in their event. Chris Laman, (B.J.) Brad Christenson, Adam Stark and Teren Jameson finished third in the distance medley relay to earn all-conference honors. Their time of 10:24.11, along with the other top-two teams time broke the existing MWC record for the distance medley relay (10:24.54). Head Coach Mike Jones was named MWC Indoor Coach of the Year on the womens side. This is the fifth time Jones has received conference coach of the year honors.
