The expedition started in Green River, Utah, on June 20, 1938 and ended at Lake Mead, Arizona on August 1, 1938. Lois Jotter [Cutter] was Elzada Clover's botany lab assistant at the University of Michigan. They arrived at Lees Ferry on July 8 and resumed the voyage on July 13. Gene Atkinson and Don Larson left the expedition at Lees Ferry, and Del Reed and Lorin Bell took their places |
