The Utah men's golf team closed out its season-opening tournament on Sunday, taking fifth place at the Gene Miranda Falcon Invitational, which was held at the par-72, 7,511-yard Eisenhower Golf Course. Utah finished the three-day event posting a combined score of 12-under par (292-279-281=852) - just one stroke behind No. 12-ranked UNLV, who finished the tournament with a score of 13-under par (851). Wyoming won the event registering a score of 29-under par and Colorado State followed with a score of 24-under par. |
