Title Variations in the isotope ratios of Phaseolus Vulgaris at different intercellular CO2 partial pressures
Date 1988-06
Year graduated 1988
Description The present study is designed to test the theoretical prediction that discrimination can be calculated from the ratio of intercellular and atmospheric partial pressures of CO2 as summarized by equation (4). In this study, the actual carbon and oxygen isotope discrimination values were calculated at different intercellular to ambient CO2 ratio. These values can be used to make predictions about the effects on carbon and oxygen composition in air and explain observed atmospheric trends.
