Title Mercury leakage from denial amalgam using neutron activation analysis
Date 1986-08
Year graduated 1986
Description The leakage of mercury from dental amalgam was examined in an approximate manner in order to lay the foundation for future experiments of this nature. Neutron Activation Analysis was used with competitor standards as the means of conducting this analysis. It was found that mercury does leak from dental amalgem but in very small amounts only. The method of experimentation was examined and recommendations on the procedure for future experiments were made.
