Description Alzheimer's disease (AD) conveys major burden to the society and healthcare system. Retinal Pathology in AD is complex, one hallmark characteristic being amyloid β-protein (Aβ) deposition, which is shown to correlate with brain Aβ plaque burden. We assessed a novel retinal curcumin-labeled amyloid imaging technique in patients with probable AD.
