Description Giant cell arteritis (GCA) can be difficult to diagnose. Logistic regression prediction models (LRPM) exist, but the average clinician is not facile synthesizing multiple odds ratios and p values into an output probability. A nomogram is a chart or graph of scaled variables that facilitates the approximate computation of a mathematical function via intersecting lines. A GCA nomogram can help gauge the need for temporal artery biopsy and the decision for glucocorticoid initiation.
