Description There is little data available on the characteristics and treatment approaches in pediatric idiopathic optic neuritis (ON). It is unknown if recurrent optic neuritis is a life-long condition or a self-limited illness. We sought to report the clinical features, outcomes, and treatment experience of pediatric subjects with both monophasic and recurrent idiopathic optic neuritis (RION).
