Description We report a unique case of retinal angiographic evidence of CJD prion disease, which, to our knowledge has not previously been reported. Significant retinal changes have been reported in the Veterinary literature and also on post-mortem human donor tissue. To our knowledge this is a unique case describing retinopathy in CJD prior to the classic development of cortical visual loss and ophthalmoplegia.
