Date 1981
Year graduated 1981
Description The Health Care System of the United States is typically pluralistic in nature, exhibiting various types and forms of (1) providers, (2) financing mechanisms, (3) payment mechanisms, (4) governance, and (5) physical resources. In addition, the basic economic laws of supply and demand do not seem to work here as they do in other sectors of the economy due in part to waht a recent report of the Council on Wage and Price Stability termed "institutional peculiarities."
