Description |
View from the southwest corner of the swimming pool located on 100 north and 200 east. This pool serviced the people of Vernal and the surrounding areas for many years. It was open from the end of May to the middle or end of August. Swimming lessons were taught in the mornings and the regular swim was from 1:00 to 6:00 in the afternoon. Sometimes the pool was open for parties at night. This was a fun place to gather for kids during the late 1940's 1950's, and 1960,s. In the early 1970's a new indoor pool was built at 600 W 200 N. |
