| Subject | Buckhorn Wash (Utah)--Photographs; Sandstone--Utah--Photographs; Fossils; Mountains; Canyons |
| Description | The RED sandstone dome in Buckhorn Wash where painted designs are. October 1931. Very high estimated 900 to 1000 feet sheer above creek bed. So close, I used the widest angle lens I had and yet my picture is crowded. I should have climbed the opposite hill behind me to get further away. Very awe-inspiring. (Buckhorn Wash is in the San Rafael Swell country of Emery County, Utah, and is a site of fossils and petroglyphs) |
