Description Structure-function correlations with optical coherence tomography (OCT) have been made for patients with optic neuropathies, which relate retinal layer thickness to contrast sensitivity, color vision, and visual disability. We investigated the relationship between best corrected visual acuity (BCVA) and macular ganglion cell complex (GCC) or ganglion cell layer + inner plexiform layer thickness in ischemic optic neuropathy (ION), demyelinating optic neuritis (ON), and compressive optic neuropathy (CON).
