Description Benign intermittent upbeat nystagmus has been described in otherwise healthy infants without a known cause (1, 2) but long term outcomes are not known. The clinical characteristics and long-term outcomes of infants who presented with vertical nystagmus and had normal neurological evaluation and neuroimaging were determined.
