Description By definition, CSF is normal in IIH.[1] Low CSF total protein has been reported in IIH with conflicting reports about whether there is a linear association between CSF-protein and CSF opening pressure (CSF-OP).[2-4] Our aim was to evaluate the relationship between CSF-protein and CSF-OP in IIH, and to explore the effect of age, gender, race, BMI and HVF mean deviation (HVFMD) on CSF-protein.
