Description Traumatic brain injury (TBI) is a leading cause of pediatric disability and mortality. Compromised visual function from concomitant TBI and ocular trauma that may occur in major trauma further complicates recovery and rehabilitation and could negatively impact neuro-cognitive development. We aimed to evaluate epidemiological patterns of TBI in pediatric patients admitted with ocular injuries in the United States.
