The operation of the Great Lake Timber Company was a natural choice for the Lapoint School for the science fair as the mill was was located in Lapoint and one of the largest in the Basin. The exhibit with models that actually operated, was a joint venture of the school. Johnny Reber and Jack Hackler of the sixth grade operate the mechanical parts. |
