Witbeck Post No. 11 of the American Legion and the Jensen Post sent 16 young men to Utah Boy's State at the Utah State University at Logan from July 7 to 14, 1962. Dale Caldwell was sponsored by the Lions Club. Boys' State was a plan for training in the functional aspect of citizenship. Its purpose was to teach the youth constructive attitudes toward the American form of government. |
