OCR Text	Show This is a photograph of James E. "Pete" Petersen, the thirteenth president of Westminster College. Petersen is wearing a dark robe with a white collar. He is also wearing large glasses and his hair combed back. In the photo, Petersen is standing in a tent, at a podium speaking into two microphones, presumably at a commencement. On the front of the podium is the Westminster College crest and beside it are flowers and other foliage. Behind Petersen are more people also dressed in black robes who are presumably faculty members.
Further Information	This photograph is a copy of the original and is in very good condition. There is a thin white border around the photo. Petersen served as president of Westminster college twice: in 1979 for 8 months and from 1982-1985. Petersen was a successful businessman who saw the college through the brink of bankruptcy and a reorganization that put the college on the road to its current success.
