Show This is a black and white photograph of Hannah Claire Haines standing in front of a brick building, which has cement stairs and a portico surrounded with tall pillars. The view of the stairs is angled, making them appear to be starting a little more than half way up the photograph at the left and ending in the bottom right corner. On either side of the stairway are high, thick, stone steps acting in the place of railings. Hannah Claire Haines is standing in front of the left railing at the bottom of the stairs and she has her head tilted towards the right of the image. She is wearing a typical nurse's white dress and hat, and has her hair parted and tied up. Her right hand is resting on top of the railing, which nearly reaches her waist, and her left hand is hidden behind her. Her sharp shadow is visible beneath her and partly on the railing behind her. Surrounding the portico, there are four visible pillars on the right side and one visible pillar on the left. Each pillar is connected with a small railing, save for where the entrance lies. The doors have a rectangular border that is very thick at the top, and each door has a rectangular window in its upper half. A single lamp is hooked on the ceiling of the portico, and reflects in the left door's window.<br><br> |
