Westminster College Football Team 1920

This group photograph of the Westminster College Football Team in 1920 shows twenty-one young men sitting in three rows with seven players in each row. The players are dressed in mid-tone long-sleeved shirts with knickers, knee high socks, and high-top cleats. Two boys on the far right side of the photograph in the back row are wearing black shirts instead of mid-tone and the coach on the far right of the center row is dressed in a dark suit. A few of the players in the front row are holding football helmets and the man in the center of the front row is holding a football with "19W20" written on it. The team is sitting on cement steps that lead up to a dark brick building behind them. A set of double doors is visible in the center of the background and three white columns to the sides of the stairs. The photograph appears to have been taken sometime in the winter months because there is a little bit of snow on the side of the steps. The bottom two steps in front of the group have long
