Student Body and Staff, 1915

A group of students of varying ages are posing on the steps of Ferry Hall. They are standing in eleven staggered, slightly disorganized rows. At each end of the stairs, there stands a group of seven men or boys, all dressed in dark suits and most are wearing ties and dark dress shoes. The row in front is off-center, and five of the men at the top are resting their hands on the shoulder of the person immediately next to them. Two other men probably intended to be in the front row as well crowd behind the man to the right extreme of the front row, who is putting something in his overcoat. Behind the front row in the very center of the image is Herbert Ware Reherd, then President of Westminster College, wearing his usual hat. The rest of the rows in between are predominantly women in light blouses with dark skirts and high lacing shoes, though a few vary from that style and there are a few men scattered among them.
