Graduating Class of the Salt Lake Collegiate Institute

A group photograph of the 1882 graduating class of the Salt Lake Collegiate Institute, Salt Lake City, Utah. The photograph includes six young women sitting in front of a formal photographers backdrop that consists of trees, a large vase, ferns, and a pillar. The young women are dressed in beautiful lace dresses with flower corsages. All of the young women have their hair pulled up on their heads. Two of the young women are holding baskets of flowers and some are wearing gloves. Two young women are sitting in the back; three in the next row and one is sitting on the floor. There is a carpet with a design on the floor and the floor boards are showing in the front of the photograph.
