| Description |
Herb Bassett settled in Brown's Park. The Bassett homestead was located in Section 3 and 34, Township 10 North, Range 102 West, 6th Principal Meridian, in Colorado. Settlement commenced on the land April 20, 1881. The improvements consisted of three log homes, a smoke house, cellar, milk house and corrall, stable and out buildings.
