Dr Branch was born in 1908 in Hopkinsville, Kentucky. Dr Branch received his B.A. from the University of Florida in 1928 and his M.D. from Tulane University in 1935. Dr Branch was Chief of the Department of Psychiatry, Salt Lake General Hospital and University Hospital from 1948-1970. Dr Hardin was President American Psychiatric Association (1962-63). The portrait of Dr Branch was painted by Alvin Gittins in 1962 and is located in the foyer of the Branch Auditorium of the Huntsman Mental Health Institute. |
