The questions in this set cover the optic chiasm, the region of visual pathway where optic nerve fibers decussate. Vuong et al. described a case of a 65-year-old with a junctional scotoma attributed to a superior hypophyseal artery aneurysm. Given the complexity of the case, further neuro-imaging was pursued. Ophthalmologists in training should know how to handle these presentations when they arise. |
