In idiopathic intracranial hypertension (IIH), presentations with high-grade papilledema, worse visual field mean deviation (MD), and reduced visual acuity (VA) are associated with worse outcomes. Randomized data is lacking in high-risk IIH. Patients often receive surgery, risking complications, infections, and revisions. We studied patients presenting with severe disc edema to better understand treatment responses. |
