Ashlee Warnick led the Utes in the 3,000m with a 3rd place finish and personal best time of 10:34.04. She shaved off 17 seconds from her previous time. Chelsea DiGrazia, who ran the race for her first time, came in 4th place (10:34.40). Putting in another personal best time by roughly 40 seconds was Kellie Anderson in 5th place (10:34.59). AJ Roby had another great meet with a first-place finish in the Shot Put (42-4.75) and 3rd in the weight throw (54-03.75). Vanessa Mortensen placed 2nd in the weigh throw (5-06.5). In addition, Amanda Feigt claimed the meet champion spot in the Long Jump (19-4.25), with Haley McAllister right behind her in 2nd (18-00.5). Both finishes were just under their season best marks. Other strong finishes for the Utes include Nikki Mancinelli, 3rd in the high jump (5-02.25), Nicki Hugie placing 2nd in the 1 mile run (5:11.22), and Janett Ern, 2nd in the 800m run (2:19.46). |
