Project Goldwing; Extreme Machines: Speed Freaks

Color video from 1997 with three sections. First comes a listing of land speed records set in the early 1990s. Then a short film features Kenny Lyon reviewing "Project Goldwing," the effort to develop a motorcycle streamliner that will set a new land speed record. This is followed (at 20:26) by the documentary by Pioneer Productions, "Extreme Machines, Speed Freaks," dated March 1, 1997, aired on The Learning Channel. The documentary includes water speed record attempts before returning to land speed vehicles. Al Teague is featured. A third segment (beginning at 44:16) focuses on airplane speed, followed by a segment on railroads. A final segment deals with motorcycles and motorcycle streamliners racing at Bonneville Speedway.
