U of U Health Sciences Cemter picnic for transplant patients from U Hospital/Primary Children's Medical Center Friday, June 14, 5:30 to dusk, Washington Park located within Mountain Dell Golf Course. See accompanying release.

This event will be an excellent opportunity for a photo story. More than 150 former patients, their families and staff will attend the event. Dr. Patrick Beatty, director of U Hospital's BMT unit, will be happy to arrange for media at the picnic to interview former patients, some of whom will take part in the program. One of the patients on the program is a child, one is a former patient; the husband of a third patient, who has had a recurrence of her disease, also will participate.
