Salt Palace viewing 1996 (Part 1)

Color video with parts of three documentaries, aired at the Salt Palace in 1996. Part 1 is a 1995 documentary on the history of "Speed Week" at the Bonneville Salt Flats, narrated by Steve Berry. Part 2 (begins at 18:29): "The Bonneville Salt Flats: saving a unique landscape," documenting the history of the salt flats and the growing concern over its deteriorating conditions. Part 3 (begins 35:32) focuses on speed racing in September of 1995, featuring Al Teague, racecar driver; Mac Marsack, diesel driver; Kenny Lyon, cyclist; Dave Campos, cyclist; Belen Wagner, cyclist; and Craig Breedlove, who aimed to break the sound barrier on land.
