| Final Score | Overall the Utes were led by Sophomore Angela Kaplar's first place finish in the 60m hurdles. In the 60m hurdles, Kaplar clocked a new school-record time of 8.58 earning her first-place. Her time beat the previous school-record of 8.60, held by Jennifer Cutrer (Kaplar's eldest sister) and April Jackson. Junior Brianna LeRoy finished eighth overall in the event with a time of 9.29. Returning from injury, senior Alyssa Abbott made here season debut at the Bronco Open. Abbott earned first place in the 3000m, posting a time of 9:56.31. Sophomore Amanda Mergaert set a new personal-best in the 800m with a time of 2:08.78, earning her first overall. In the 400m event, Alyssa Johnson finished second posting a time of 56.56. Lucy Yates clocked a new life-time best in the 400m with a time of 57.20 (seventh place). After taking last week off, Langley Iverson finished first in the high jump with a mark of 5-8.75. In the pole vault, Klaudia Rokossa cleared the mark of 12-5.50 earning her second-place. In the shot put, the Utes claimed four of the top-10 spots. Nikkie Rudder finished third place by throwing a distance of 45-7.75. Candus Aiello had a throw of 43-9.00 earning her fourth overall. Destanae Howerton-Davis (43-3.00) and Alanna Nulph (43-1.00) finished fifth and sixth, respectively for the Utes. Anneli Stahl finished fourth overall in the weight throw with a mark of 55-8.50. Utah's Cynthia Sanchez earned fifth place with a throw of 55-1.00. Rudder (49-7.75) and Howerton-Davis earned seventh and ninth overall in the event. |
