This syllabus provides an overview of acute vestibular syndrome, a clinical condition condition characterized by dizziness of vertigo that develops acutely (over seconds, minutes or hours); may be accompanied by nausea/vomiting, gait instability, nystagmus, or head-motion intolerance .
