NORDIC has been developing the IIHTT for the past 5 years. This trial is now funded starting February 2009. The medical trial tests the following hypothesis in patients with mild visual loss: treatment of IIH with diet and acetazolamide (Diamox) is no different than treatment with diet and placebo. |
