| Title | Are Sunglasses Predictive of Non-Organic Visual Loss (NOVL) in Neuroophthalmologic Practice? |
| Creator | Rachel Bengtzen, Maria Woodward, Michael Lynn, Nancy Newman, Valerie Biousse |

| Subject | Non-organic Visual Loss; Sunglasses; Diagnosis |
| Description | Diagnosing NOVL is challenging. It has been suggested that sunglasses wear in a neuro-ophthalmic clinic may indicate NOVL, and allow clinicians to adapt their examination strategy. The aim of our study was to evaluate: 1) whether sunglasses wear predicts NOVL in neuro-ophthalmic practice; 2) whether patients with NOVL wear sunglasses more often than patients with organic neuro-ophthalmic disorders; 3) what other factors are present in NOVL patients wearing sunglasses. |
