Scooped shape close twill twined Paiute winnowing tray approximately 41 cm x 44 cm. The start is truncated warp twined together. It is woven convex to concave side and decorated with two brown/tan zig zag 2cm bands. The rim is finished with two coiled rows; the first consists of a bundle coiled to the twined edges of the basket. The outer one is a rod with stitches penetrating the coiled bundle. |
