Description Excessive secretion of tears may be nonorganic and may be associated, as noted above, with nonorganic blepharospasm. Bloody tears also may be associated with blepharospasm. Walsh observed a patient who produced bloody tears by depositing blood from self-induced nosebleeds into the conjunctival sacs.
